Property maintenance in Rochester

Your local maintenance team for Rochester

Rochester Castle and Rochester Cathedral stand side by side above the River Medway, with the historic High Street close by, about 20 miles north east of Tunbridge Wells. Scenes from several of Charles Dickens's books are set here, and he knew the town well. Weather blowing up the estuary is hard on paintwork and pointing, and river damp does the rest. Meridian's answer is exterior painting, repointing, gutter and roof repairs and pressure washing, with fence and garden work alongside.

From Tunbridge Wells it is about 20 miles north east to Rochester, an easy run for us and a regular part of our patch.

What we do in Rochester

• Driveway, Patio and Decking Pressure Washing
Driveways, patios, paths and decking pressure washed to lift dirt, moss, algae and weeds, so the surface looks cared for again.
• Gutter Cleaning
Gutters cleared of leaves, moss and silt with a gutter vacuum from the ground, so rainwater runs away instead of over the edge.
• Roof Cleaning and Repairs
Moss and debris cleared from roofs, valleys and gutters, plus roof and gutter repairs to keep the weather out.
• Exterior Painting and Decorating
Walls, woodwork, fascias and fences painted after proper preparation, with weather resistant finishes suited to each surface.
• Brickwork Re-Pointing and Mortar Repairs
Crumbling and missing mortar raked out and replaced with fresh joints, so walls stay weathertight and look sharp again.
• Block Paving Re-Sanding and Sealing
Block paving re-sanded with fresh kiln dried sand and sealed, to lock the joints and help keep weeds and stains at bay.
• Fence, Gate and Garden Maintenance
Fence panels and gates repaired or replaced, hedges cut, lawns mown, gardens cleared and weeds treated.
