Property maintenance in Chatham

Looking after homes in Chatham

For more than 400 years the dockyard at Chatham built and repaired ships for the Royal Navy, and the Historic Dockyard now tells that story beside the Medway, about 20 miles north east of Tunbridge Wells. Fort Amherst and the Great Lines Heritage Park look down from the high ground above. Where homes are exposed to the estuary wind, paint fades and fences work loose sooner than in sheltered spots. Put Meridian on the job and repainting, fence repairs, roof and gutter work and driveway cleaning are all taken care of.

Chatham is about 20 miles north east of our base in Tunbridge Wells, well within our regular area.

What we do in Chatham

• Driveway, Patio and Decking Pressure Washing
Driveways, patios, paths and decking pressure washed to lift dirt, moss, algae and weeds, so the surface looks cared for again.
• Gutter Cleaning
Gutters cleared of leaves, moss and silt with a gutter vacuum from the ground, so rainwater runs away instead of over the edge.
• Roof Cleaning and Repairs
Moss and debris cleared from roofs, valleys and gutters, plus roof and gutter repairs to keep the weather out.
• Exterior Painting and Decorating
Walls, woodwork, fascias and fences painted after proper preparation, with weather resistant finishes suited to each surface.
• Brickwork Re-Pointing and Mortar Repairs
Crumbling and missing mortar raked out and replaced with fresh joints, so walls stay weathertight and look sharp again.
• Block Paving Re-Sanding and Sealing
Block paving re-sanded with fresh kiln dried sand and sealed, to lock the joints and help keep weeds and stains at bay.
• Fence, Gate and Garden Maintenance
Fence panels and gates repaired or replaced, hedges cut, lawns mown, gardens cleared and weeds treated.
