Property maintenance in Minster

Looking after homes in Minster

Minster on the Isle of Sheppey takes its name from the abbey founded here in the 7th century by Queen Sexburga. Perched on high ground above the Thames estuary, about 31 miles north east of Tunbridge Wells, it has cliffs along the shore. Sitting above the sea means taking the weather head on, and salt wind is hard on paint, fences and gates. Meridian's Sheppey coverage also reaches Eastchurch and Leysdown-on-Sea, with painting, fence and gate repairs, gutter clearing and pressure washing.

Minster is about 31 miles north east of our base in Tunbridge Wells, and we cover it along with the rest of Kent. Your quotation is still free and there is still no deposit to pay.

Homes close to the sea in and around Minster face salt air and stronger winds than those further inland. Both are hard on paintwork, metal fixings, gutters and timber fences, so regular cleaning and a sound coat of paint go a long way here.

What we do in Minster

• Driveway, Patio and Decking Pressure Washing
Driveways, patios, paths and decking pressure washed to lift dirt, moss, algae and weeds, so the surface looks cared for again.
• Gutter Cleaning
Gutters cleared of leaves, moss and silt with a gutter vacuum from the ground, so rainwater runs away instead of over the edge.

• Exterior Painting and Decorating
Walls, woodwork, fascias and fences painted after proper preparation, with weather resistant finishes suited to each surface.

Crumbling and missing mortar raked out and replaced with fresh joints, so walls stay weathertight and look sharp again.
• Block Paving Re-Sanding and Sealing
Block paving re-sanded with fresh kiln dried sand and sealed, to lock the joints and help keep weeds and stains at bay.
• Fence, Gate and Garden Maintenance
